Connecting to Wi-Fi on a smartphone may vary slightly depending on the device and operating system, but generally, the steps are as follows:
Unlock your smartphone and go to the Settings app.
Look for the "Wi-Fi" option and tap on it.
Make sure the Wi-Fi toggle switch is turned on.
Your smartphone should automatically detect nearby Wi-Fi networks. Choose the network you want to connect to from the list of available networks.
If the network is secured, you may be prompted to enter a password. Enter the password and tap "Connect."
Wait a few seconds for your smartphone to connect to the Wi-Fi network. You should see a Wi-Fi icon in the status bar at the top of your screen.
Once you're connected to Wi-Fi, you can browse the internet, stream videos, and use other online services without using mobile data.
Note: If you’re having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi, make sure you’re within range of the network and that you have the correct password. If you still can’t connect, try restarting your smartphone or resetting your Wi-Fi router.
